Monoï originates from French Polynesia

Monoï is protected by an Appellation d’Origine (Guarantee of Origin), a decree that normally applies to authenticate fine wine and champagnes. It was granted by the French government from April 1, 1992. The Appellation of Origin guarantees the origin of the ingredients and the superior quality of the oil.

Very little of the current global supply of Monoï comes from French Polynesia. Monoï de Tahiti remains one of the most counterfeited cosmetic products on the market today. It is protected to preserve its legendary properties, quality, and its manufacturing process.  Like Champagne, Monoï is not Monoï unless it is from French Polynesia.

The Original Hair Oil is suitable for all hair types. Apply the appropriate amount depending on your hair thickness, length, and type to achieve the best results.

There are several ways you can use the Original Hair Oil for a deeper treatment. 

1) Use it as a Pre-Poo (Before Shampoo) treatment. Apply on hair and leave on for 20 min to 1 hour prior to wash, then carry on with normal washing routine. 

2) Massage oil onto scalp for 5-10 minutes and then working your way down to the ends of your hair. Tie up hair in a bun and wrap a warm towel around your head covering scalp and hair. This will help the pores open up on the scalp for deeper penetration of the oils. Wash thoroughly after 1-2 hours.  

3) Massage oil onto scalp and ends, leave on overnight, and wash thoroughly following morning. 

Use the face oil as the final step in your skincare routine. Take a few drops and apply by massaging onto face or by dabbing/patting the oil into your face for better absorption into pores.
